Hospital Chaplains
Provides spiritual guidance and pastoral care to patients and their families. They may also offer grief counseling and support to survivors of trauma, victims of crime, and those with mental health crises.

Workplace Chaplains
Provides employee assistance, counseling services, wellness seminars, conflict management, and mediation. They may also serve on a death and serious injury notification team for employees who die or are injured on the job.

School Chaplains
Provide presentations, reflections, and one-on-one conversations to help students understand Christ's teachings. They may also lead retreats where students can pray, play, and converse.

Military Chaplains
Conduct worship services, perform religious ceremonies, and support combat stress. They may also accompany service members into combat.

Counseling Services
Dr. Threets is amazing. She’s a fun and well-spoken teacher. She has a ton of experience in this field to advise those planning on getting married. Things that haven’t been brought up will most likely get brought up, which is a great thing! She asked great questions that made it engaging and wasn’t just a PowerPoint slide. We left that meeting with a better understanding of how God views marriage and the covenant between husband and wife. Physically, spiritually, and emotionally.

Chaplain Auxiliary
Chaplains provide spiritual support to a diverse group of people from various cultural, educational, professional, and political backgrounds. They cater to individuals with different religious beliefs or none at all. The primary focus of chaplains is to offer emotional and spiritual guidance to those who seek it.
Thank you for your interest in Florida Theological Chaplaincy Academy (FTCA). Our mission is to ordain individuals who feel the call to serve in ministry. FTCA is a non-traditional continuing education academy with a Bible-based program that aims to enhance students' understanding of God's truth. Our customized programs of study cater to the particular needs of individuals, ministers, and leaders.
