Florida Theological University ("FTU") is a Christian religious educational institution whose educational mission is centered upon biblical, theological, ministerial, and religious education.

FTU shall maintain its institutional publications, program descriptions, degree titles, transcripts, enrollment materials, advertisements, financial disclosures, refund policies, and other official documents consistent with its current legal and regulatory status.

RELIGIOUS INSTITUTION EXEMPTION

To the extent FTU operates under the religious-institution exemption from licensure under applicable Florida law, FTU shall maintain the requirements applicable to that exemption, including the annual sworn affidavit process and applicable annual letter of exemption issued by the Florida Commission for Independent Education.

FTU shall maintain and provide its current exemption documentation as required by applicable law and shall not represent an exemption as equivalent to accreditation or state licensure.

DEGREE TITLES

FTU shall use the exact religiously qualified degree titles applicable to its approved or exempt programs. Where Florida law requires a religious modifier to appear in a degree title, the modifier shall appear consistently on the degree, transcript, catalog, official publications, and other applicable institutional documents.

PROGRAM INFORMATION

Before enrollment, prospective students shall receive information concerning:

• FTU's institutional purpose;
• Educational programs and curricula;
• Program duration;
• Institutional religious educational status;
• Tuition, fees, and other required costs;
• Payment requirements;
• Withdrawal and refund policies;
• Transferability of credits, where applicable;
• Completion requirements;
• Applicable professional or occupational licensure considerations;
• Student complaint and appeal procedures; and
• Other disclosures required by applicable law.

BIBLICAL LESSONS & RECIPIENT ENRICHMENT PROGRAM

The Biblical Lessons & Recipient Enrichment Program is an educational enrichment program. Completion of an enrichment program does not, by itself, confer an academic degree.

TRANSFERABILITY

Completion of FTU coursework, certificates, enrichment programs, or degrees does not guarantee acceptance of credits or credentials by another institution. Students should verify transferability directly with the receiving institution before enrollment when transfer credit is an important consideration.

PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE

Completion of an FTU program does not automatically qualify a graduate for state professional licensure, certification, employment, or practice in a regulated occupation. Students intending to pursue a regulated profession should independently verify the applicable Florida and other jurisdictional requirements before enrolling.

ACCURACY OF INFORMATION

FTU is committed to providing accurate and current information to prospective and enrolled students. If a published catalog provision conflicts with a subsequently adopted institutional policy or applicable law, FTU shall make the appropriate correction or amendment and provide notice consistent with applicable requirements.
